The “Waterdrop” series from Kontex with its delicate white dots and fringe ends seems almost a little nostalgic. It is made of 55% cotton and 45% organic cotton.

KONTEX produces its fabrics exclusively on traditional looms, and has done so since 1934, when Kontex was founded in Imabari (Japan).

KONTEX produces its fabrics exclusively on traditional looms, and has done so since 1934, when Kontex was founded in Imabari (Japan).
This method is very time-consuming - compared to modern mass production on high-speed machines - but produces far better results in terms of absorbency, softness and drying properties. The yarn is also processed much more gently because it is subjected to less stress.
Kontex towels are made of cotton and linen. Their fibers are cleaned in the mineral-poor spring waters of Mount Ishizuchi. A natural orange oil is used for dyeing.
Made in Japan.
