Japanese towel “Claire”
Japanese towel “Claire”
The Japanese towel “ Claire ” from the Kontex collection impresses with its super soft touch and soft colors. This makes it the perfect towel for anyone with sensitive skin, from babies to the elderly. The double fabric with a neutral terry cloth side (100% organic cotton) and a colored, woven side made of cotton and linen ensures easy, comfortable use. The towels are very absorbent because their yarn is not so tightly twisted. And they become even more flattering with each wash.

The story behind it:
KONTEX produces its fabrics exclusively on traditional looms, and has done so since 1934, when Kontex was founded in Imabari (Japan).
This method is very time-consuming - compared to modern mass production on high-speed machines - but produces far better results in terms of absorbency, softness and drying properties. The yarn is also processed much more gently because it is subjected to less stress.
Kontex towels are made of cotton and linen. Their fibers are cleaned in the mineral-poor spring waters of Mount Ishizuchi. A natural orange oil is used for dyeing.
Made in Japan.
