The story behind it:
Green and white porcelain was developed as early as the Sung Dynasty (960-1279) . The transparent glaze applied to the white biscuit shows a jade-like, light green color after firing. This distinguishes it from the pure white glaze. It is also known as shadow green glaze.
In Jingdezhen, light gray-white biscuits are used, so that the shadow green porcelain made in Jingdezhen has a unique elegance.
