Habotai silk is soft and flowing and feels like a treat for the skin thanks to its fine, smooth structure. It is often so fine that the print on the front and back is barely distinguishable. It can also absorb up to 50 percent of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet. And not a single wrinkle remains, when you loosen the grip again.

The best care
Contrary to popular belief, silk is not afraid of water at all, but the water should not be hot; lukewarm in a hand basin or cold in a silk wash program, with a silk detergent or baby shampoo. Then it is best to hang it up dripping wet.
Either iron when damp on a low setting or iron with steam. Steam will make any silk smooth again. Iron any water drops dry immediately (without steam) so that no edges are created.
